Forest Habitats Manager

We're looking for an experienced nature conservation professional to fulfil the role of Forest Habitats Manager and deliver positive biodiversity outcomes throughout the Forest. This multi-disciplined managerial role will be perfect for someone with significant woodland establishment and habitat management experience, looking to further their career in landscape scale conservation, and be part of growing and shaping England’s largest new native broadleaf woodland.

£45,000 - £50,000 p/a
37.5 per week – Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.00 with some evenings and weekends
Colletts Farm Office, Dorsington, Warwickshire, CV37 8AU, with regular travel to and around the Forest

About the role

You’ll be leading our friendly and dedicated forestry team who are responsible for the woodland and access management across 7,000 acres of land, including 4,685 acres of new woodland and over 600 acres of mature and ancient woodland.

In this role you will lead on the preparation, implementation and evaluation of operational habitat management plans to ensure that the Heart of England Forest achieves the aims and objectives set out in its strategic and operational plans.
