About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Systems and Management Accountant to join us at an exciting stage of our development. This role will be well suited to a qualified accountant with experience in both implementing finance systems and generating management information to support decision making.

Working as part of the small but dynamic finance team, this new role requires a proactive individual who is able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and who is able to take effective decisions independently. Key responsibilities include implementing a new finance system, and working closely with internal customers to produce useful and timely information to drive the organisation forwards. The post-holder will need to switch between these two skillsets, giving more or less emphasis to each at certain times, to meet organisational need. 

This unique organisation comprises an interesting mix of forestry, farming, residential, commercial, leisure and woodland burial operations. The breadth of commercial and technical skills required will stimulate and reward.

The role will involve significant autonomous working, as well as playing a leading role as part of a small team and requires a passionate ambassador for the charity.
