Macro Photography Workshop with Award-Winning Photographer Lee Frost

Young Foresters is a volunteering and adventure club for 12-18-year-olds to explore the outdoors, improve health, forge new friendships, and gain valuable work experience. It also supports Duke of Edinburgh Award requirements. Activities include bushcraft, outdoor cooking, natural crafts, and forestry and conservation tasks. The young people attend independently, supported by our experienced staff. Based over two unique sites, this group offers exciting spaces for learning and adventure.

Mini Foresters - Middle Spernal

Mini Foresters is a monthly club where children aged 4-11 can enjoy seasonal activities in the Forest with their families. Join us for den building, arts and crafts, tool use, bushcraft, wildlife exploration, marshmallow toasting, and more. This club runs on the first Saturday of every month, all year round, over two unique woodland sites offering exciting and beautiful spaces for families to explore.

Immerse yourself in nature and creativity during this hands-on pottery workshop right here in the Heart of England Forest. Guided by The Great Pottery Throwdown finalist David Short. You’ll start with a woodland walk to gather leaves, watch a demonstration of slab-building and texturing techniques, and then transform your collected leaves into a beautifully unique clay bowl using coloured slips for added detail.
