As a Forest Philanthropist you will be involved in one of the most ambitious environmental charities in the country. Through your support you will gain a deep involvement with and understanding of our work, helping to ensure The Heart of England Forest has an impact today and a legacy for tomorrow.

Forest Philanthropists help us to:

• Create and conserve a huge new native broadleaf forest, protected and secured for generations to come.
• Mitigate climate change by creating a Forest not just for the planet we have now, but the planet of the future, by planting a variety of up to 30 native species to create a climate resilient woodland.
• Provide a bigger, better, and more connected ecological landscape that supports the UK’s native animal and plant life.
• Connect people to the countryside and all the benefits that brings to health, happiness, and wellbeing.
• Enthuse future generations through learning in the Forest, helping young people to grow up loving the Forest and wanting to take care of it.
• Create a skilled workforce providing opportunities for interns and apprentices in forestry and biodiversity to look after not only this Forest but woodlands and forests across the country.

Gift Aid allows charities to claim basic rate of 20% on your donation

For example, if you made a major gift of £5,000 to the Heart of England Forest, and we were able to claim Gift Aid, the value of your generous donation would go up to £6,250.
