If you are looking to make a plant a tree experience when we are able to offer you a choice of what you plant. The other dedication options offer broadleaf tree species, but we are unable to offer the choice of any particular one when processing your donation.

Yes, we can do this for a £45 Tag a Tree or £295 Plant a Tree dedication. If you provide their details as the delivery address when completing the donation form, we will be happy to mail it directly.

Dedicate a tree packs are sent by 2nd class post using Royal Mail to UK addresses. We aim to dispatch dedicate a tree packs within 3 working days of receipt of donation. If your dedication is time-sensitive, you may want to check the dispatch date with our customer service team at the time of making your donation.

Yes, we can do this for a £45 Tag a Tree or £295 Plant a Tree dedication. You may like to consider making an additional donation to cover the additional international postage cost to the charity. As an alternative we can arrange to send a digital version to the donor by email, but are unable to do this directly to a gift recipient.

We will replace your tag or plaque if it is damaged or missing. Just let us know and we will arrange a replacement for you.

Yes. If you dedicate more than one tree, we can arrange for them to be grouped together. Simply email us after making your donation, and we'll be happy to arrange this for you.

The easiest way to reach the Heart of England Forest is by car. Unfortunately, there are currently no bus services that go directly to our dedication areas.

Haydon Way Wood: The nearest station is Redditch. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute journey by car to the Haydon Way Wood car park.

Dorothy's Wood: The nearest station is Honeybourne. From there, it's approximately a 10-minute journey by car to the Dorothy's Wood car park.

We don’t provide accommodation or recommend specific accommodation providers, but there are a range of options available in the local area. We suggest searching for accommodation near our dedication sites in nearby towns and villages to find the option that best suits your needs.

When ordering we do not ask for a species preference or planting date, this is arranged with the recipient and explained in the gift letter they receive.

We do prefer you to select the plaque message, recipients like the thoughtfulness of a personalised message and it allows us to have the plaque ordered and ready for when the recipient is ready to plant.

Of course, and we will send you a photo by email and then your certificate and location map by Royal Mail so you can hopefully visit it when you are able.

Young trees are remarkably resilient and well adapted to establishing themselves. During hot weather, fresh leaves can become scorched. This may affect the tree's appearance temporarily but is unlikely to cause lasting damage, and most saplings recover naturally.

Only during prolonged periods of exceptionally dry weather may occasional watering be beneficial. If you do water, apply it slowly at the base of the tree in the early morning or evening, when less water is lost through evaporation. Avoid watering the leaves, as this can increase the risk of scorching. Overwatering can also discourage trees from developing the deep root systems they need to become healthy, self-sustaining woodland trees.

Our dedicated planting area is at Eddie's Wood, near Dorsington. On your planting day, you'll be able to choose the exact location for your tree within the current planting area, with guidance from one of our Forest Rangers.

Certainly! Well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome to join you on the day.
