Take part in this year's Great Big Green Week

We invite you to celebrate the Great Big Green Week with us - it's the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. 

Between 7th and 15th June this year thousands of people in every corner of the country will celebrate the heartfelt, everyday actions being taken to stand up for nature and fight climate change. To get involved please take a look at our events below:

In person event: Spernal Park and Morgrove Coppice, Nr. Alcester
Friday 6th June 9.30pm to Saturday 7th June 5pm

For adults with an interest in nature. Join us and learn how to help record and protect the wildlife on your doorstep in this 24-hour race against the clock to discover as many species as possible, creating a snapshot of the variety of wildlife that can be found in this Forest location.

In person event: The Heart of England Forest, Middle Spernal Farm, Spernal, B49 6JE
Thursday 12th June
4pm - 7pm

For young people aged 12-18 years to come out and get hands on in the beautiful Forest. Offering the chance to take positive action to combat climate change, gain valuable work experience, and forge new friendships, all whilst benefitting mentally and physically from spending time outdoors, this is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed!

Build a Bug Hotel
In person event: Stratford Local Nature Reserve, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6YX
Saturday 14th June
1pm – 4pm

Encourage biodiversity in your garden by building a bug hotel! This fun and eco-friendly activity provides shelter for insects like ladybugs, bees, and woodlice, helping them thrive while benefiting your garden. All materials are provided. This activity is great for kids, families, and nature lovers who want to support the insect life in their own garden.
