37.5 per week – Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.00

About the role

As our Administrative Assistant, you’ll be the heartbeat of our Estates and operational teams. From streamlining processes and managing compliance to coordinating resources and welcoming visitors, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and improve admin systems and processes.
  • Monitor compliance and keep legal documentation up to date.
  • Support procurement, asset and stock management.
  • Manage vehicle bookings and MOT schedules.
  • Handle enquiries, visitors, post, and phone calls.
  • Assist with financial record-keeping and meeting administration.
  • Provide support to forest operations, including PPE and recycling hub management.

What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • Proven experience creating and improving admin systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and stay calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint).

Desirable:

  • Experience in estate or land management.
  • Familiarity with databases or CRM systems.
  • Fleet management experience.
  • Understanding of rural property law and compliance.
  • Knowledge of rural terminology and land use practices.
  • GIS and mapping tools experience.
  • Awareness of GDPR compliance.
