Make your woodland dedication
The perfect gift for someone special – and a gift for nature.
Celebrate a birthday, graduation, Mother's Day, Father's Day or another special occasion with a meaningful gift that creates a lasting connection to the Forest. You can dedicate more than one tree to mark an important milestone anniversary or celebrate the whole family.
Your dedication will become part of a growing young woodland in the Heart of England Forest. While individual trees are unmarked, your tree forms part of an area of the Forest that can be explored and enjoyed, with a choice of two locations.
Your recipient will receive a personalised digital letter, certificate and map by email, making this a thoughtful last-minute gift.

What happens next?
Our team will get to work preparing your personalised dedication pack. We aim to email your pack to the recipient within three working days.
Our tree dedication areas
Our dedication areas, based at Dorothy’s Wood in Dorsington, Warwickshire, and Haydon Way Wood in Spernal, Warwickshire, are a delight to visit throughout the year. Young, well-established trees grow alongside mature woodland, species-rich grasslands and hedgerows, creating a peaceful landscape that supports an abundance of wildlife. Every season brings something new to discover, making each visit a little different.
Parking is available at both sites. Further information about Dorothy’s Wood can be found here, and information about Haydon Way Wood can be found here. Each of the dedication areas are approximately a five-minute walk from their respective car parks.
Our walking trails are well maintained, but they can become muddy in wetter weather, so sturdy footwear is recommended. The terrain is generally flat, although, as with any natural woodland, you may encounter some uneven ground.
Nature first
Our dedication areas are beautiful places to visit throughout the year, changing with the seasons and providing a valuable home for wildlife. We'd love for you to visit and experience the woodland as it grows and changes over time, we simply ask that you leave behind only footprints.
Throughout the year, the woodland will look and feel different. In spring, fresh leaves emerge and trees begin their new season of growth. Summer brings lush foliage as trees capture sunlight and continue to establish. In autumn, leaves change colour before falling and returning nutrients to the woodland floor. During winter, trees rest and conserve energy, with growth continuing quietly beneath the surface as roots develop and prepare for the seasons ahead.
