Cloudbusting and Weather Folklore - Guided Educational Walk
Do you know your cumulus from your cirrus? Ever wondered whether there’s truth in the old saying, "When swallows fly high, it will be dry"? Join us for a fascinating guided walk exploring the skies above Sheriff’s Lench, where we’ll uncover the secrets of cloud formations and the folklore that has shaped our understanding of the weather for centuries. Led by Forest Team Member Ed Leszczynski, this walk will take you through the open landscapes of Sheriff’s Lench, offering plenty of opportunities to observe the sky and discuss what the clouds might be telling us.
Please be aware that this event is also subject to the weather. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs on leads are welcome.
