Evening opportunities for keeping connected through the winter months
As the nights get a bit darker and colder, we’re inviting you to join us for a series of indoor training and information sessions run by our passionate staff team and some wonderful partner organisations. These sessions are a great way to stay connected with nature during the winter and prepare for hands-on opportunities in the spring.
Ideal for busy schedules
These sessions are perfect for those who want to support the Forest but are unable to volunteer during the day or at weekends. Whether you can join just one session or all of them, your contribution will be greatly appreciated. There’s a specific focus on meeting new people and connecting with the environment, whilst helping to nurture the Forest.
What to Expect
- A varied programme of sessions, including winter tree identification.
- Insight into the Heart of England Forest and how you can get involved.
- Practical guidance and training to help support you when outdoor volunteering resumes.
- A chance to meet our team and connect with others who share your passion for the environment.
- Tea, coffee, and biscuits.
When Are Sessions Held?
Our winter programme runs on selected dates, making each session focused and tailored. These are relaxed, indoor events designed to fit around shorter days and seasonal schedules.
