Moorings in the Forest

If you are visiting the Forest by boat, there are two locations for moorings - Dovecote Moorings and Forest Bank Moorings.

 

Dovecote Moorings

Set on the River Avon, Dovecote Moorings (previously Barton Moorings) has river views, a wealth of walking opportunities, a local pub only a 5 minute walk away, and the delights of Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon and The Cotswolds within a 15 minute drive. Dovecote Moorings is ideally placed allowing you to do as little or as much as you like.

With 24 moorings available for your cruiser, widebeam, or narrowboat, you will have excellent links with Stratford-upon-Avon, which is 3 hours and five locks upstream, and to Evesham which is 3 hours and four locks downstream.

Our facilities include:

  • Water points
  • Wi-Fi
  • Calor gas
  • Chemical toilet disposal
  • Refuse and waste disposal
  • We welcome dogs, but do ask you to keep them under control at all times and clear up after them.

We also have a slipway for launching or retrieving boats from the River Avon.

Forest Bank Moorings

New flood-safe moorings for boats up to 60 feet long, located in tranquil rural surroundings.

Our facilities include:

  • Wide and stable pontoon berths
  • Electric hook ups
  • Water points
  • Calor gas
  • Chemical toilet disposal
  • Refuse disposal
  • Dedicated berth holder car park.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
