Evening Volunteering Session - Boardwalk Repair at Morgrove Coppice
Wednesday 7th August, 18.30 - 20.30

Join us for a session making repairs to our boardwalk.

Public access is a key area of focus for the Heart of England Forest, we want members of the public to enjoy visiting the Forest, and ensure they have a pleasant visit. Morgrove Coppice features a boardwalk to allow the public to access and use the site even during wetter periods, this needs regular maintenance and care to ensure it is safe to use.

Please wear suitable outdoor footwear, such as walking boots or wellies. For sunny days we recommend suncream and a hat. Please also bring your own work gloves, we recommend builders gloves with a rubber palm. If you do not have your own gloves we are able to provide these. We will provide all the tools and equipment required for this activity.

A thick area of bracken in the Forest
Evening Volunteering Session - Bracken Control at Coughton Park
Wednesday 14th August, 18.30 - 20.30

Join us as we fight back against bracken encroaching across our woodland rides.

Coughton Park is a beautiful site, rich with varied habitat, including butterfly rich woodland rides. Some of these rides get overwhelmed by a thick carpet of bracken, which is reducing the valuable biodiversity within this habitat. Annually we cut and pull bracken in areas of the Forest to contain and control this species.
